Founding years

Farm commissioned: 250 acres developed with 150 hectares of water-spread area. Thai expertise onboarded to institute best practices.
1993
Export status: Registered as a 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU).
1994
Hatchery launch: 200-million seed capacity. specialists engaged from Taiwan and the Philippines.

IPO: Public issue oversubscribed 8x
₹22 crore equity raised.
1996
Sharat Seafoods Limited becomes Sharat Industries Limited (13 June).

Shrimp feed mill commissioned.
